The uvex group does not use any substances that are harmful to health in accordance with the REACH regulation and has also imposed its own list of "Restricted Substances". It is the uvex group's business policy to only offer products that have a maximum reduction of harmful substances and do not burden the user or the environment. Especially for products that come into contact with the skin, such as PPE, the uvex safety group applies the strictest criteria that exceed the applicable EU directives.

Note: As regulatory requirements for environmental and sustainability claims continue to evolve, we are further developing our sustainability communications. Products that were previously labeled “protecting planet” will be marketed under the new “responsible performance” labeling concept going forward. Both labels represent our commitment to considering environmental and social aspects in product development and manufacturing. Since the transition in our communications is taking place gradually, you may currently see both labels.
