The uvex optical shop in Fürth – a place where passion for optometry, state-of-the-art technology, and a friendly team come together. For our employees, the shop has been an integral part of the company for 16 years. But more and more external customers are also discovering and appreciating our wide selection of (sun) glasses and our excellent service.
Eye examination
A precise eye examination is very important to us. Your prescription values should be perfectly tailored to your eyes, ensuring that you have the best possible vision with your new glasses.
To achieve this, we perform a range of different vision tests using various instruments and visual acuity charts. Please make an appointment for your eye examination.
Video centring system
A true highlight of our service. This system not only measures your vision parameters while looking straight ahead, but also captures measurements during different head movements. Using these precise values, our lens manufacturer can create customised lenses made specifically for you.
Contact lens fitting
Our contact lens fitting service is thorough and comprehensive. Before trying your first trial lenses, we carefully examine your eyes using various measurement devices to determine the ideal lens type for you. We recommend scheduling a follow-up check-up at least once a year.
