Jan Allmann joins the uvex group as Co-CEO
In the year of its 100th anniversary, the uvex group, one of the world's leading specialists in occupational safety and sports protection, is strengthening its leadership structure, positioning the business for its next phase of growth. Effective 1 September 2026, Dr Jan Allmann has been appointed Co-CEO of the uvex group, alongside Stefan Brück, and he has also assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of uvex Safety Europe.
In his new position, Dr Allmann is responsible for the overall Safety Europe business. He will work alongside the existing Senior Management Team, comprising Managing Directors Sandra Hasslinger and Georg Höfler. Over the past year, Allmann has already become closely acquainted with the uvex group through his role on the company's Advisory Board, contributing to key strategic discussions and supporting the development of the group's long-term direction.
Prior to joining uvex, Dr Allmann spent nine years with the Würth Group, most recently serving as a member of the Group Executive Board with global responsibility for the Trade division. Before joining Würth, he worked for five years as a consultant at McKinsey & Company.
"I am delighted to take on this new role and the opportunities it presents," said Dr Allmann. “Our mission of protecting people is more important than ever. We will continue to strengthen our commitment to protecting people both at work and during their leisure activities, making a meaningful contribution to society. A particular priority for me is ensuring that our customers not only benefit from innovative products, but also enjoy outstanding service and an exceptional customer experience.”
Stefan Brück, Co-CEO of the uvex group, and Tobias Weidner, Managing Director at Warburg Pincus, welcomed the appointment: “We are delighted to welcome Dr Jan Allmann to the management team as Co-CEO. Over the past year, he has already developed a deep understanding of the uvex group and our strategic priorities. His industry expertise and insight into the opportunities and challenges facing our markets will be invaluable as we continue to drive the company's next stage of growth.”
Warburg Pincus, a leading global growth investor, acquired a majority stake in the uvex Group in summer 2025. Together, uvex and Warburg Pincus are focused on unlocking further growth opportunities across both existing and new markets. Key priorities include accelerating international expansion, strengthening the company's premium product portfolio, and further enhancing long-term profitable growth.
