2021

"Wherever you ride" campaign receives German Brand Award 2021

uvex sports receives the coveted German Brand Award 2021 for its umbrella brand campaign "wherever you ride"! According to the jury of experts, our campaign is one of the strongest strategy concepts in the competition, which makes us particularly proud, as the majority was created in-house in our marketing department. 1,134 submissions from 17 countries were evaluated and the uvex sports "wherever you ride" campaign was among the best in the "Excellence in Brand Strategy and Creation" category, which underscores the value of the award and the quality of our work. uvex sports launched the "wherever you ride" campaign around two years ago. The core idea is still consistently pursued with emotional images and texts: To underscore the uvex brand's mission - protecting people, wherever you ride. Whether biking, riding or skiing: uvex sports products are always the perfect companion, for athletes from top sports but also for recreational athletes and safety-conscious parents. We are very pleased to receive the German Brand Award 2021 and are certain that this testifies to and reinforces the strength and charisma of uvex as a brand and as an innovator.

2020

German Brand Award in Gold // ALPINA

ALPINA, a brand of the uvex sports group, was awarded the German Brand Award in Gold 2020. The competition honours the most innovative brand presentations and creative campaigns. Just in time for the company's 40th anniversary, ALPINA was chosen as the winner in the category "Excellent Brands - Sports & Outdoor Goods" for its superbly executed brand relaunch in a fresh 80s look.

Germany's customer favorite

uvex is awarded the "Customer Favourite 2020" seal of approval in the sporting goods category by FOCUS Money business magazine. This makes uvex one of the test winners and puts it in second place.

Innovation 2020

The idea of creating a classical downhill like the Downhill 2000 with the innovative, contrast-enhancing "Colorvision"- technology for improved detail perception as well as of a new "Supravision Antifog" coating. The readers were convinced by this upgrade. The SkiMAGAZIN editorial team and the SportCombi publishing house congratulate on this success. uvex takes 3rd place in the sporting goods category

In a comprehensive study of Germany's most sought-after products & services by the F.A.Z. Institute, uvex achieved a strong third place in the sporting goods category and is delighted that uvex products are again in demand by consumers this year.

2018

SAZ Supplier Ranking

uvex is the positive constant in the SAZ supplier ranking. In the "winter sports" category, uvex was the only manufacturer to maintain its position in comparison to the previous year and in 2018, with an overall score of 1.88, once again took an excellent third place.

RoadBIKE Reader's Choice

The readers of RoadBIKE magazine voted uvex the 2nd best brand in 2018 in the category "Helmets".

Bicylce Brand Contest 2018

uvex’s “The city is yours” campaign received an award from the Bicycle Brand Contest this year. This award is an acknowledgement by the German Design Council of excellent product and communication design in the bicycle industry.

Plus X Award

The uvex hlmt 500 visor has been awarded the coveted innovation prize! The visor-helmet combination scored particularly highly among the independent jury of experts in the High Quality and Design categories.

TEST WINNER RennRad

uvex race 8 was truly impressive in the test carried out by RennRad 09/2018. The aerodynamic results measured in the wind tunnel were considerably higher than those of the competitors.

eMTB-News User Awards

uvex is the best helmet brand in 2018: The readers have decided and voted uvex first in the helmet category at the eMTB-News User Awards 2018. 19% of all eMTB-News users are convinced of the quality and design of our helmets.

MountainBIKE Reader's Choice

In the current reader survey of the magazine MountainBIKE, uvex takes 1st place and is thus the best brand in the category "Helmets".

uvex sports wins German Brand Award in Gold

uvex sports has been honoured with the German Brand Award in Gold in the Industry Excellence in Branding – Sports category for its Olympics campaign.

TEST WINNER TOUR Magazin

The ultra-light frameless uvex sportstyle 803 cv originated on the track. Featuring the new uvex colorvision lens technology from the 2018 season, the sports glasses are now the TEST WINNER in the latest sports eyewear test conducted by TOUR Magazin, edition 08/2018.

Bike eyewar test Freeride

A robust frame design and brilliant vision are just what mountain bikers need. uvex sportstyle 706 cv impressed with both in the bike eyewear test for the magazine Freeride 03/2018.

Plus X Award

uvex is synonymous with high customer satisfaction. The Plus X Award for Germany’s highest customer satisfaction 2018 went to uvex in the category of sports equipment.

ISPO Award

The ISPO jury selected uvex sportsstyle 706 colorvision as an ISPO Award 2018 Winner in the category of Health & Fitness > Eyewear, awarding it second place.

2017

2017: Ski Magazin

The editorial staff of the SkiMAGAZIN chose the uvex hlmt 500 visor as its recommended visor helmet from the 15 helmets it tested. RadMarkt Innovation Award Out of 3,500 companies, the uvex group with its brands uvex and Alpina was the only sports products manufacturer chosen in the top 50 of Wirtschaftswoche magazine's innovation rankings. In addition to the manufacturer's innovative strength, economic indicators such as sales growth and profitability were assessed.

2016

Goods Testing Foundation

In the 12/2016 edition of Stiftung Warentest, the uvex p1us ski helmet came out on top during its product testing.

Eurobike Gold Award 2016

At the Eurobike trade fair in Friedrichshafen, the new mountain bike helmet uvex jakkyl hde received the Eurobike Gold Award 2016. The helmet can be converted from a half shell to a full-face helmet in the blink of an eye.

Plus X Award

Two new Alpina products from the winter sports range were honoured with the Plus X Award 2016. The Attelas Visor QVM ski helmet as well as the Granby QVMM ski goggles were praised in terms of their quality, design and functionality.

ISPO Gold Award 2016/17

The uvex p.8000 tour ski mountaineering helmet and the uvex variotronic s cycling glasses received the ISPO Gold Award 2016/2017 at the winter sports trade fair ISPO.

ISPO Special Award

The uvex sports group received a special award from Messe München in honour of the company's 90th anniversary.

Cavallo Readers' Award

The readers of the biggest equestrian magazine in Germany have selected uvex as their preferred brand in the riding helmet category. With 34.5% of the vote, uvex left competitors trailing in its wake, causing brands such as Casco and Pikeur to be relegated to the bottom of the pile.

"bike" Test Rating

The uvex jakkyl hde endurance helmet was honoured with a "super" test rating by the "bike" editorial team. Several helmets with chin straps were tested.

ISPO Award

The Alpina ski helmet Attelas Visor presented at ISPO 2016 received the ISPO Award 2016/17 from the trade fair jury.

"Freeride" Test

The uvex jakkyl hde endurance helmet scored 9.5 points out of a possible 10 in a test by the "Freeride" editorial team.

Design & Innovations Award

The uvex jakkyl hde endurance helmet received the Design & Innovation Award 2016. The helmet was developed in close collaboration with team riders Michal Prokop and Max Schumann in order to meet the requirements of modern endurance riders.

Eurobike Gold and Interbike Gear of the Show Award

Design & Innovations Award

Alpina Carapax won the Design & Innovation Award 2015. The cycling helmet is particularly lightweight and scored well due to its attractive design and comfortable fit.
