The uvex group places the same high-level requirements on its suppliers and partners as it demands of itself. For this reason, the uvex group pays close attention to compliance with social standards based on ILO Standards along the entire value chain. It expects business partners to comply with all relevant national, local, regional and other applicable work, health and safety and/or environmental laws and regulations, in addition to having attained all legally required, valid health and safety approvals, licences and/or certifications. In the event of a breach of these regulations, corresponding solutions must be sought to rectify the issue as quickly as possible. All business partners of the uvex group are contractually obliged to comply with the provisions of the internal uvex Social Standard. This is reviewed as part of social audits carried out in cooperation with the external service provider UL.
