Our apprenticeships
Optician (m/f/d)
As an optician, you are the first point of contact for customers when it comes to their vision. You conduct eye tests, advise on the selection of glasses and contact lenses, and ensure that visual aids are perfectly fitted. Repairing and maintaining glasses is also part of your responsibilities.
During your apprenticeship, you will learn everything about optical measuring instruments, proper customer consultation, and the skilled crafting of lenses. This versatile training lays the foundation for a career in a future-proof profession.
IT specialist in Data and Process Analysis (m/f/d)
As an IT Specialist in Data and Process Analysis (m/f/d), you ensure that companies can use their data efficiently and optimize processes. You analyze existing workflows, develop digital solutions, and implement automations. In doing so, you work with large datasets, write scripts, and maintain secure IT systems.
During your apprenticeship, you will learn how to evaluate data, improve IT processes, and prepare companies for the digital future.
Warehouse logistics specialist (m/f/d)
As a Warehouse Logistics Specialist (m/f/d), you receive goods, monitor inventory, and prepare shipments. You organize storage spaces, coordinate transport routes, and work with modern IT systems.
Operating material handling equipment is also part of your daily routine.
During your apprenticeship, you will learn everything about inventory management, warehouse organization, and the safe transport of goods.
Warehouse Operative (m/f/d)
As a Warehouse Operative (m/f/d), you are responsible for receiving, inspecting, and storing goods. You pick orders, pack products, and prepare them for shipment. In doing so, you work with modern warehouse management systems and learn the safe operation of material handling equipment.
During your apprenticeship, you will gain knowledge of logistics processes, inventory management, and efficient warehousing.
Industrial clerk (m/f/d)
As an Industrial Clerk (m/f/d), you manage business processes within a company. You compare offers, negotiate with suppliers, organize purchasing, and monitor inventory levels. You are also involved in sales, human resources, and accounting — from customer support to cost calculation. During your apprenticeship, you will learn everything about business processes, market analysis, and modern office communication.
Industrial mechanic (m/f/d)
As an Industrial Mechanic (m/f/d), you assemble, maintain, and repair machines and production equipment. You manufacture components, put them together, and ensure that everything runs smoothly. Troubleshooting and optimizing systems are also part of your responsibilities.
During your apprenticeship, you will learn everything about metalworking, technical drawings, and modern control technology.

Plastics Technician (m/f/d)
Als Kunststofftechnologe:in stehst du im Mittelpunkt der Herstellung und Verarbeitung von Kunststoffen. Du überwachst und steuerst Produktionsprozesse, prüfst die Qualität von Kunststoffteilen und optimierst Fertigungsabläufe. Dabei arbeitest du mit modernen Maschinen und entwickelst neue Produkte aus Kunststoff.
In der Ausbildung lernst du alles über Materialkunde, Fertigungstechniken und Qualitätsmanagement.

Your contact person
Sabrina Röhn takes the lead and is always there to support you with advice and hands-on help.
She has been part of UG since 2008 and, since graduating in Business Administration in 2013, has been dedicated to supporting our apprentices. 'The development of our young talents is especially close to my heart – whether it’s career planning, school-related matters, organizing company classes and events, or selecting new apprentices.'
Privately, she is a mother of two, keeps chickens and sheep, and loves making jam, baking bread, and tending to her vegetable garden.
