Award for equal treatment 2017
The award "Gleichbehandlungscheck" stands for the equal treatment of sexes in the working life.
The uvex group has been awarded for the equal treatment of the sexes by the Federal Anti-Discrimination Bureau. The family company was honored for its gender-friendly employment and working conditions as well as the recruitment process. The uvex group is one of 10 pilot companies that have successfully completed the consulting process nationwide.
Top National Employer 2017
uvex group is again one of Germany’s best employers! In it’s annual ranking the news magazine FOCUS has identified together with kununu Germany's best employers. uvex is receiving the "TOP National Employer’s Award" in 2017, for the fourth time in a row. In cooperation with the business network XING and the platform kununu, FOCUS honors every year the top 1,000 employers in Germany from 22 branches with more than 500 employees. A crucial question is whether the employees recommend their own employer. In addition to the leadership behavior of the superiors, career prospects, the salary and the use of the latest technologies play a role as evaluation criteria. We are very happy about the nomination.
Top National Employer 2016
For the third time in a row the uvex group was awarded by the news magazine FOCUS with the award "Best National Employer". Companies that were rated by their employees as an employer with outstanding working conditions carry that title. In cooperation with the business network XING and the platform kununu, FOCUS honors every year the top 1,000 employers in Germany from 22 branches with more than 500 employees. Criteria for the nomination are leadership behavior of superiors, career chances, salary and the image of the employer. We are very happy to receive the award again.
Bavarian Best 50
On 29 July 2015 the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs and Media, Energy and Technology awarded 50 Bavarian companies with the “BAYERNS BEST 50”-award.
The award honours medium-sized companies with a strong growth in revenues as well as headcount, economic stability and future viability. The uvex group is honoured to be awarded.
A.T.Kearney Family Award
In cooperation with the market and social research institute infas, the corporate consultancy firm A.T. Kearney, has for the very first time, awarded the “A.T. Kearney 361° Family Award” in 2015. The award honours companies which place particular value on the family-friendly qualities of their business and support their employees in finding the optimum balance between their professional and personal lives. The uvex group is proud to have been awarded second place.

Top National Employer 2015
From opportunities for professional development to working atmosphere and salary, the major employer ranking survey conducted by FOCUS magazine identifies the German companies which offer their employees the best working conditions. In 2015, the uvex group was awarded the prize for “Top National Employer” for the second time. The rankings acknowledge all companies in which employee’s enjoy a particularly high degree of job satisfaction. FOCUS interviewed more than 70,000 employees of all ages and positions in an extensive and detailed survey in collaboration with business social media platforms Xing and kununu. Among other aspects of their working life, respondents rated the management skills of their superiors, workload, work-life balance and salary as well as the external image of their employers.
Member of the Network "Erfolgsfaktor Familie"
The “Erfolgsfaktor Familie” (Family as a success factor) business network is a joint venture of the Federal Ministry of Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth and the Association of German Chambers of Industry and Commerce. The official seal of approval distinguishes the most family-friendly companies in Germany. The uvex group was accepted into the network for our commitment to a family conscious working environment.

Equal pay "Logib-D"
The “Logib-D” accreditation distinguishes German companies with a clear comittment to ensuring equal pay (Lohngleichheit im Betrieb – Deutschland). The Federal Ministry of Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth praised the uvex group for its exemplary remuneration structure. The family company was lauded for its strategy of gender equality which shapes staff and wage policies as well as the uvex group’s voluntary commitment to fair pay. The uvex group is one of 61 companies across Germany to have successfully completed the Logib-D consultancy process.
Move Europe - Award for Health Management
The governing body of the BKK health insurance company in Germany and the European Commission have awarded the uvex group for its health-conscious and employee-focused corporate strategy. Employee health and wellbeing are seen as holistic management objectives by the uvex group which help to strengthen our performance and competitive edge in the long term. The prize is awarded to companies and organisations with exemplary health management, who not only align their activities with individual behaviour patterns but who also successfully implement measures aimed at optimising the corporate framework conditions and view corporate health management as a part of corporate strategy as a whole.
